Alternative message format [iPhone]

The standard way to package up RSA-encrypted and/or -signed data is with CMS (Cryptographic Message Syntax). The MYEncoder and MYDecoder class provide this. But the underlying CMS functionality isn't available on iPhone OS, unfortunately.

Crypo experts caution against inventing new protocols and formats, but there's no alternative except for waiting for Apple to release a public CMS API for the iPhone.

(I did this a year ago for my Cloudy project, using YAML as the wrapper format. If I did it again, I'd probably use JSON instead, as it's simpler than YAML and easier to canonicalize.)
